Managers oversee day-to-day operations and ensure each department works efficiently while supporting team leaders. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily café and bakery operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service excellence.
Maintain store standards in cleanliness, product quality, and guest experience.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Participate in regular management meetings to review performance, address challenges, and plan operational strategies.
People & Team Management
Lead, coach, and support team members through clear communication and ongoing feedback.
Support recruitment, scheduling, and performance management.
Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Promote development opportunities and guide team members toward leadership pathways.
Guest Experience
Uphold Laforêt’s hospitality standards and ensure guests receive thoughtful, attentive service.
Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Administrative & Financial Responsibilities
Assist with inventory control, ordering, and managing waste efficiently.
Monitor labor costs, productivity, and operational KPIs.
Prepare necessary reports and support strategic planning with the leadership team.
Qualifications(nice-to-have)
Previous experience in supervisory or management roles within café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Understanding of café operations, and food service standards.
Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
Working Conditions
Positions are available for full-time employment.
This role is based on a morning shift schedule, with occasional flexibility required for weekends or holidays depending on operational needs.
Fast-paced café, bakery and restaurant environment requiring standing for extended periods and active participation in daily operations.
Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
