This is our story

2013

CAFE JOIE

Our story began on August 1, 2013, with the opening of Cafe Joie, a modest 1000-square-foot space.

Exterior of Cafe Joie with outdoor seating including chairs and small tables, hanging flower basket, potted plant, and street view with parked car.
A person holding a plate of waffles topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and green ice cream, viewed through a window with the logo 'Café Joie' and a steaming coffee cup.

Spite our humble beginnings, we recognized the demand for a spacious meeting place in the Lower Mainland.

JUBILEE

We ventured off the beaten path by transforming an auto body shop into Vancouver’s largest cafe. And that is how, in 2017, La Foret was born in Burnaby.

ROYAL OAK

Since then, we have grown into a beloved destination, expanding to Royal Oak, Burnaby in 2023.

And we further expanded to Austin, Coquitlam to meet growing demand.
