Join the Kitchen team at La Forêt, where precision, speed, and collaboration come together to deliver quality dishes from breakfast to dinner. Our team handles every part of the process—from prep to cooking, plating, and dishwashing—to ensure a smooth operation and exceptional guest experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items, mixes, and batters (such as soups, waffles, sauces) according to La Forêt’s recipes, quality standards, and production guidelines.

  • Complete daily prep work, including ingredient measurement, station setup, and packaging for distribution to other locations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace following food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently as required for each station.

  • Manage ingredients and production items by properly storing, labeling, and minimizing waste.

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.

  • Perform dishwashing duties by ensuring all dishes, cups, kitchenware, and tools are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and restocked promptly.

  • Communicate proactively with receiving teams to coordinate production and delivery schedules.

  • Follow all operational standards and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive kitchen environment.

Qualifications(nice-to-have)

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (line cook, prep cook, dishwasher or equivalent).

  • Ability to communicate effectively during daily operations.

  • Knowledge of food safety practices (FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset).

  • Experience working with kitchen production equipment such as mixers, fryers, or knives.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to learn kitchen systems and standards.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions

  • Positions are available for part-time or full-time employment.

  • This role is based on a morning shift schedule, depending on operational needs.

  • Candidates must be available to work on weekends and public holidays as part of the regular schedule.

  • Flexibility with hours and willingness to support peak periods is preferred.
