Barista
Our barista team is the heart of La Forêt’s café experience. As a barista, you are more than just a beverage maker—you play a key role in delighting our guests with expertly crafted drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. You greet each guest with warmth, prepare handcrafted beverages to the highest quality standards, and ensure every order is served with care and attention.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver warm and attentive service to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Maintain a polished and inviting atmosphere, keeping the dining and service areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Provide accurate product knowledge, offering thoughtful recommendations on pastries, beverages, and menu items.
Prepare high-quality espresso beverages, operate the espresso machine confidently, and ensure consistent coffee standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and tools at all times.
Manage transactions with accuracy, handling payments and receipts responsibly.
Uphold La Forêt’s hospitality standards, responding to guest needs with professionalism and genuine care.
Support daily operations, including restocking, prepping service stations, and monitoring inventory levels.
Communicate openly and respectfully within the team to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications(nice-to-have)
Communication skills and comfort interacting with guests.
Previous experience in customer service or café environments.
Familiarity with espresso machines and basic barista skills, including latte art.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
A genuine interest in hospitality and delivering thoughtful guest experiences.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
Attention to detail in service, cleanliness, and presentation.
Basic cash-handling or POS system experience.
Working Conditions
Positions are available for part-time or full-time employment.
This role is based on a shift schedule, including opening, mid, and closing shifts depending on operational needs.
Candidates must be available to work on weekends and public holidays as part of the regular schedule.
Flexibility with hours and willingness to support peak periods is preferred.
