From dough preparation to the delicate details of our signature pastries, you’ll play a key role in creating desserts that delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Decorate bakery products (cakes, pastries, and specialty items) according to La Forêt’s recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
Monitor in-store production, ensuring consistent quality and timely preparation of bakery products.
Produce bakery items as needed to maintain supply for display and guest orders.
Prepare sauces or other ingredients requested for bar and beverage production.
Set up a morning display for bakery products, ensuring an attractive and organized presentation for guests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, focusing on personal work areas and tools, following food safety and hygiene standards.
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and decorating tools.
Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure smooth workflow during peak production
Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Previous experience in a bakery environment is an asset.
Willingness to learn and follow bakery systems,and recipes.
Responsible and dependable work attitude, with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively during daily operations.
Knowledge of food safety practices (FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset).
Experience using bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, or knives.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong teamwork mindset and collaborative attitude.
Working Conditions
Positions available for part-time or full-time employment.
Morning shift schedule, with occasional flexibility required for weekends or holidays depending on operational needs.
Fast-paced bakery environment requiring standing for extended periods and active participation in daily operations.
